Our parts washers use a clever technology called bioremediation to dramatically lower waste fluid generation, reducing the headache of hazardous waste removal, bringing cost savings and health & safety benefits to the user and lowering environmental impact.
Here you will find everything you need to know to about our parts washers.

WHAT HAPPENS TO ALL THE GREASE, OIL AND OTHER CONTAMINATIONS DURING WASHING?
The filter mat traps the large particles of contaminants to stop them entering the system (which is why it is so important to change your filter every month). The rest of the oil and grease will be washed into the base of the parts washer where the microbes in the cleaning fluid will turn them into carbon dioxide and water.
HOW MUCH OIL CAN I PUT IN AT A TIME?
As with all parts cleaners excessive grease, oil and fluids should be disposed of prior to washing. The Rozone parts washers can handle large, tough, dirty jobs, but are not designed to be a waste oil dump.
WHAT DO I DO IF THE FILTER MAT CLOGS UP QUICKLY WITH GREASE?
You may need to use the multi-layer filter mat – find them on our website.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE THE MICROBE FILTER MAT?
You should change the filter mat every 4 weeks
HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO CHANGE THE FLUID?
With normal use and proper maintenance, you should only have to change the solution once every 18 months or so. The microbes clean the solution. Once every 12-18months you may want to remove any sludge build-up at the bottom of the tank.
HOW OFTEN DO I ADD FLUID TO THE PARTS WASHER?
Under normal use, it will be necessary to add fluid every 2-3 months. The parts washer is equipped with a low fluid indicator light that will let you know when it is time to add fluid.
CAN I JUST ADD WATER TO THE PARTS WASHER TO ADJUST THE FLUID LEVEL?
No. Even though the system fluid is water based and additional water will dilute the fluid and negatively affect the cleaning power.
CAN I BUY THE DETERGENT AS A CONCENTRATE AND MIX IT WITH WATER?
No. The detergent is pre-blended with specially treated water to ensure the best quality of the cleaning solution that is put into the parts washer
CAN I USE OTHER SOLUTIONS IN THE ROZONE PARTS WASHERS?
No. Our parts cleaning systems have been painstakingly developed to work effectively as a whole – machine parts, fluid and the microbes. Other solutions may damage the machine or kill the microbes, thereby eliminating the advantages of the parts washer The use of other solutions will void the warranty
DOES THE PARTS WASHER ALWAYS HAVE TO BE PLUGGED IN? WHAT IF GETS SWITCHED OFF?
The unit should always be plugged in so that the temperature is kept at the optimal working temperature for the microbes to keep breaking down the oil/grease/etc. If you switch your parts washer off for a long period of time, the microbes will slow down and eventually become dormant and ineffective. You will need to reactivate the microbes by switching the system back on, adding a bottle of microbe booster to the tank and inserting a new filter mat.
