ROwasher Team Expands to Continue Parts Washer Innovation by Welcoming Carl James

Carl James, Account Development Manager

We are delighted to welcome Carl James to the Rozone team as Account Development Manager, with responsibility for the Bike Sector. We have worked with Carl for many years, and he was central to our long-standing relationship with Halfords.  Carl has a close affinity for Rozone and the ROwasher and joined us because of the excellent product that we offer to our bike sector customers.

Having operated in the cycling industry for over 25 years, Carl has a solid track record across numerous senior retail operations and customer-facing roles, as well as leading large B2B teams and business-wide strategic projects.  He has developed a wide-ranging skillset which includes Project Management, Operational Strategy Development and CX Development as well as in-depth knowledge of the UK’s cycling market and industry.

In his previous role, Carl was instrumental to the growth of Cycle Republic, a commuter focused cycling retail chain, taking it to twenty-two shops across the UK’s major cities in under five years.  Whilst in this role, Carl also led the successful growth of the bike workshop element of the business, including the concept and roll-out of the exciting mobile repair offer.

Outside of work, Carl and his family enjoy the outdoors, whether it be cycling, swimming, walking, running, or skiing.  Carl is a competitive triathlete, having competed across the UK for over 10 years and recently became a qualified British Triathlon coach.

Carl says: “I have worked with this team for decades and I have had real affinity for their desire to provide the best in parts cleaning.  The ROwasher delivers that, without question, and it is a real pleasure to be out visiting customers with the best machine that the market has to offer. And the innovation won’t stop here.”
