ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Rozone is a supplier of sustainable cleaning, pollution control and other innovative technologies that benefit employees, society and the environment. We aim to help our customers increase efficiency, improve the health and wellbeing of those they interact with whilst also minimising environmental impact.

PRODUCER RESPONSIBILITY

Rozone is registered under the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Producer Responsibility) Regulations 2013 as amended Producer Registration Number: WEE/JG0549ZR/PRO and Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009 Producer Registration Number: BPRN00158 for the supply of portable and automotive batteries. On customers request Rozone will take back end of life WEEE products and batteries as supplied within the UK. All items will be disposed of using Environment Agency approved re-processors.  Rozone is a participating member of the VALPAK compliance scheme Membership Number Z056707.

CYBER ESSENTIALS 

Rozone have invested heavily in Cyber Security to minimise the risk of malicious attacks affecting the business. Rozone are an accredited member of the government backed Cyber Essentials scheme.

Cyber Essentials is a government backed scheme that helps businesses protect themselves from cybercrime. It does this by showing you what needs to be in place, within your IT infrastructure, in order to address basic weaknesses and prevent the most common types of attacks

Cyber Essentials has ensured we are prepared for GDPR compliance with a number of elements within the legislation outlined by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which came into effect in the UK on 25th May 2018.  Cyber Essentials certification gives reassurance to our staff, suppliers and existing customers that we have taken the necessary measures to protect the data we hold and have secured our IT system from common cyber threats.

REACH

Reach is a regulation of the European Union, adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while enhancing the competitiveness of the EU chemicals industry. It also promotes alternative methods for the hazard assessment of substances in order to reduce the number of tests on animals. Companies have the responsibility of collecting information on the properties and the uses of substances that they manufacture or import at or above one tonne per year. They also have to make an assessment of the hazards and potential risks presented by the substance.
