From a double take of a Jamaican Patty van stopped at a set of Birmingham City Centre traffic lights, an idea was born.

Having been stopped in her tracks by the amazing visuals on the side of the Island Delight van, Rozone`s Marketing Manager Beth Jones set out to track down the designer of the visually creative van wrap.

Rozone recently launched a new “green” parts washer and needed a “vehicle” to promote the innovative ROwasher to a wide audience.

A Memorable First Impression

David Cresswell, Director of Wrap Bespoke and creator of the Jamaican Patty van design, explained how “creating unique and stunning artwork has the sole purpose of drawing attention to your vehicle and embedding the memory of your brand. A wrapped vehicle is seen by 3000 PEOPLE per day, according to Government statistics. Draw attention to your brand and maximise your business exposure with a vehicle wrap”.

“The whole point of a wrap is to make a good first impression, but the secret is to make it memorable!”

The Perfect Branding Opportunity

The purpose of the Rozone van is to travel the UK five days a week servicing parts washer customers. Therefore, it was the perfect branding opportunity, which inspired the transformation of Rozone’s grey transit van.

Most company vehicle graphics are basic, consisting of the company logo and contact details. The problem with this is that customers don’t acknowledge the graphics, don’t understand the company offering, or forget the company quickly.

Seeing an opportunity, Rozone ordered a bespoke wrap for the company van, transforming it into a marketing machine to engage with a wide audience, to tell the story of our bioremediating parts washer.

Creative Director David Cresswell met with our Marketing Manager Beth Jones to discuss the clever science behind the new ROwasher. The environmentally friendly parts washer uses naturally occurring oil-eating microbes to break down hydrocarbons. This turns them into harmless carbon dioxide and water to create an innovative self-recycling parts washer that doesn’t require expensive waste disposal contracts. Inspired by the bioremediating science, David quickly came up with some brainstorming concepts that really gave the wow factor.

The designs focus was to create the impression of being inside the ROwasher parts cleaning system, with the fluid nozzle blasting out ROwash Degreasing Solution, and the oil-eating microbes devouring the oil and grease washed off dirty cogs and bearings. The result – shiny clean components.

Starting from an impressive design concept, the van is now fully detailed with polished vehicle graphics, and Rozone couldn`t be happier with the finished result.

“We`ve already secured a ROwasher sale from a customer who saw the van out on the road and was intrigued by the visual concept, who then looked us up online. We look forward to turning a few more heads!”
